THE ONLINE AUSTIN SEVEN CLUB

The Club for Austin Seven Enthusiasts

INTRODUCTION

Introducing the Online Austin Seven Club:

2008 marked the launch of our new, internet based Club for Austin Seven Enthusiasts. The Club's activities are mainly centred around this website www.OA7C.com which we aim to develop into the essential resource for Austin Seven owners and those who are interested in A7s but may not currently own one.

The website has sections devoted to A7 related news, events, technical tips, forums, galleries and regular features by members of the OA7C. The site is accessible to anyone to promote interest in A7s to the uninitiated but there is a password protected area available to Members only  which covers issues in much greater depth.

The Club aims to work with the existing A7 Clubs and organisations to bring them together on one website and create a more regularly updated and comprehensive facility than can currently be maintained by individual Clubs. The site includes an Austin Seven Wiki which will allow Members to contribute knowledge and experience to a central database of technical information and forums to exchange views and opinions.

Membership of the Club does not have to cost anything - the aim of the Club is to encourage participation rather than to make money - in fact any profits made by the Club will be donated to Children in Need.

There are three ways to join the Club:

1. Contribute articles and photographs to the website. A minimum of three contribution in any one year will be necessary to qualify.

2. Register for the Club's annual 'Drive in the Park' convention which in 2009 will be held in Buxton.

3. Pay a membership fee of £10 by credit card online. (£5 for Members of Associated Clubs).

details of all three options can be found in the Membership section of the website.

So if you would like to share your experience of owning, running and maintaining an Austin Seven and would like to see the Club in action go to the Member's Area and register.
