The 750 Motor
Club was formed in 1939 as a means for
Austin 7 enthusiasts to meet each other
and talk about things relating to the
Austin Seven. From early on one of the
main features of the Club was an
interest in organizing sporting events
that allowed participation to those
without a great deal of financial
backing.
As such
the Club organized road rallies and
trials and the Austin 'Special'
started to make an appearance.
The Club
has a sporting bias but still
organizes more sedate road runs for
enthusiasts who are more interested
in a nice day out with a pub lunch.
The Club
holds a National Austin Seven Rally
on the first Sunday in July each
year at Beaulieu. Photos and reports
of these appear in our 'Event
Report' section.
Membership of the Club entitles you
to a monthly Club Magazine, the
quarterly Association 'Grey Mag' and
numerous other benefits. The Club
has local centres all over the UK
and some abroad .

Since those early days, the club has grown into one of
the larger car clubs in South Australia and its members have been prominent in local
and Australian motor sport.
The club caters for members who have an interest in
rebuilding and restoring 'old' cars - not necessarily Austin
Sevens. Once rebuilt and running, these cars are used on touring runs, held each month.
